Founded in 1997, RSRS began with one goal in mind: Provide Canadian physicians with better document management solutions. RSRS also provides a much needed service to patients looking for a copy of their own medical record after a medical practice has closed.
RSRS services several other industries as well, providing digital imaging conversion, storage and retrieval, workflow and secure backup solutions while meeting the high standards of security and privacy required by the healthcare industry.
RSRS is a member in good standing of the Association for Information and Image Management (AIIM) and the American Records Management Association (ARMA). RSRS also works in full compliance with the guidelines set by the provincial Colleges of Physicians & Surgeons, the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA), and the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
When personal medical records are found in an abandoned office building, Ontario’s privacy commissioner, Ann Cavoukian, turns to RSRS for their expertise in securing medical records helping patients access their medical histories.
